ENTRANCE TO THIS EVENT IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

Cathal Holden is a poet, hip-hop artist, and storyteller from the Dingle peninsula. His work grows at the crossroads between the old world and the new, rooted in the Irish oral tradition of the seanachaí and branching into modern realms of spoken word and rap.

Cathal will be bringing home a brand-new show of hip-hop and spoken word, set to music. It is a genre-defying experience that blends elements and energies from all corners of the spectrum of performance – from rapid-fire, high-potency rap to tender portraits of grief and alchemy. His work is a bursting tapestry of kaleidoscopic images that reward close listeners with unfurling packages of meaning – each miniatures of the heart, the mind, and the spirit.
