Ticketing

Ticket Tailor provides the ticketing system to Dingle Lit events.

Latecomers
Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance before they can enter the auditorium. If there is no suitable break, latecomers may not be admitted.

Antisocial behaviour
Dingle Lit Company reserves the right to refuse admission or to remove persons on the grounds of public safety.

Cancellation, Refund & Exchange Policy

Ticket Non-Refundability
Except as explicitly stated below, all ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be exchanged, resold for profit, or refunded once purchased.

Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
If an event is cancelled entirely by Dingle Lit clg and cannot be rescheduled, ticket holders will be offered a full refund of the ticket face value (excluding any third-party booking fees, where applicable). If an event is postponed or rescheduled, original tickets will remain valid for the new date, or a refund option will be provided within a specified timeframe.

Lineup & Author Changes
Literary festival line-ups and panel participants are subject to change due to illness, travel disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances. Dingle Lit clg reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme, including author substitutions or panel modifications. Refunds will not be issued for individual author cancellations if the overall event proceeds with a substitute speaker or altered format.

Force Majeure
Dingle Lit clg shall not be liable for failure to perform or delay in performing any obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such failure arises from acts of God, extreme weather, government restrictions, severe travel disruption, or other force majeure events beyond reasonable control. In such instances, refund decisions will be made at the sole discretion of the Festival Committee.

All presentations, debates, interviews, contributions and like events produced and presented during Dingle Lit Company events by authors, contributors and from live events shall be the copyright of Dingle Lit Company unless specifically otherwise agreed beforehand. In participating or speaking in any event organised by Dingle Lit Company, whether as a presenter, speaker, contributor or attendee, you are granting to Dingle Lit Company the copyright of the same and, without prejudice to the foregoing, the exclusive right to film, record, print, publish, broadcast, reproduce, sell, distribute, translate the same without fee or licence.

Legal information

Dingle Lit Company Limited is a company limited by guarantee and incorporated in Ireland (No 652769) with its registered office at Carrigeen, Ballyferriter West, Tralee, County Kerry.

The ticket holder assumes all risk of injury and all responsibility for property lost, destroyed or stolen, destruction or theft, and releases the promoters from all liability thereafter.

All offers are subject to availability, and all information is correct at the time of going to print. Management reserves the right to change the cast or performance in the event of any unforeseen circumstances. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
