Who the workshop is for
When you have a completed a draft, or nearly complete, of a novel that you hope to get published then this course will improve your chances of achieving your aim.
What the workshop covers
This three-hour online course will provide an overview of the process of editing your own novel from a publisher’s perspective, providing guidance on elements such as structure, voice, character, narrative perspective, setting and plot, with a small number of writing exercises.
What you can expect
At the end of the course you will have a better understanding of how a publisher will view your writing when submitted for publication.

Workshop Leader – Brian Langan
Brian Langan is a literary agent and freelance editor, and founder of Storyline Literary Agency (www.storylineagency.com) and Storyline Editing. Brian has 25 years’ experience in publishing, most recently as editor at Transworld/Doubleday Ireland, an imprint of Penguin Random House, where his authors included Donal Ryan, Hilary Fannin, Colm O’Regan and Conor O’Clery. His agency clients include Niall Bourke, Mel O’Doherty, Luke Cassidy and Olivia Fitzsimons. Brian is also a published author.

You are entitled to a refund within one week of your payment, (less Eventbrite fees) provided that the workshop has not already started.
We cannot refund fees in respect of cancellation after this time. We cannot offer partial refunds to students who do not finish the workshop.
