Who the workshop is for
An online poetry workshop with poet Enda Wyley for emerging poets
What the workshop covers
This three-hour poetry workshop will be enjoyable, varied and interactive. You will encounter work by established poets which will guide you in our own writing and inspire new poems. Simple writing prompts will also be given in class. There will be no pressure on anyone to share new work – but if participants are happy to do so, the workshop will be an encouraging and positive environment for new poems to be celebrated. You will take away from this workshop an increased enthusiasm for poetry – the reading and writing of it, and a deeper understanding of the making of poetry. You will also feel encouraged and confident enough to keep writing and to continue to follow your own individual journey as emerging poets.
What you can expect
In this workshop, poet Enda Wyley will celebrate with you the energetic and imaginative work of established poets and will also guide you in your own poetry writing. Feel part of an encouraging poetry group, be open to creative prompts and the making of your own new poems.
