Photography & Filming at the Festival  

Dingle Lit will be taking photographs, and possibly video, at various events throughout the festival. These images will be  used by Dingle Lit to share news about the festival and to publicise our next festival. Images may be used in press releases,  printed publicity and published on Dingle Lit’s website and social media channels. 

Images will be kept indefintely and may be used retrospectively. A person may request to withdraw their consent at any time. Email us to make the request: info@dinglelit.ie 

If you would prefer for you or your child not to be included in any such photography or recordings, please speak to the  offi cial photographer or any of the festival volunteers. If you would like to see your images or would like us to delete them,  

official photographer or any of the festival volunteers. You can request a certain image to be deleted.

All presentations, debates, interviews, contributions and like events produced and presented during Dingle Lit Company  events by authors, contributors and from live events shall be the copyright of Dingle Lit Company unless specifi cally other wise agreed beforehand. In participating or speaking in any event organised by Dingle Lit Company, whether as a presenter,  speaker, contributor or attendee, you are granting to Dingle Lit Company the copyright of the same and, without prejudice  to the foregoing, the exclusive right to fi lm, record, print, publish, broadcast, reproduce, sell, distribute, translate the same  without fee or licence. 

Data Protection and Children 

Dingle Lit endeavours to comply with EU and Irish data protection legislation. This includes, but is not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. When it comes to data protection and children, the Festival organisers are particularly vigilant. In particular, they seek to comply with the Data Protection Commission’s The Fundamentals for a Child-Oriented Approach to Data Processing (December 2021).
